Steven G. Austin, CPA

As a manager in the Tax practice at Szymkowiak & Associates, Steve specializes in working with small businesses, trusts, individuals, and private foundations providing tax compliance and planning services.   His responsibilities also include scheduling, peer review, and training.

A 1980 graduate of Clarkson University with a B.S. in Accounting, Steve obtained his MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester in 1985. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, he spent 17 years at accounting firms in Western New York and New Jersey.

Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs. He is actively involved with Amherst Youth Hockey, formerly served as treasurer and board member of Amherst Soccer Association in Williamsville, and was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America.

Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Diana and his three children.
